When we first connected with this client, it was under less-than-ideal circumstances. A flood had left the primary bathroom completely gutted and in need of repair. What began as an unexpected setback quickly became an opportunity to reimagine the home, starting with the primary suite as the flagship space to set the tone for everything to follow.
Phase one included a full remodel of the primary bath, bedroom, and closet (with bedroom photos coming soon), anchored by extensive and meticulous space planning & thoughtful design development. We partnered with a trusted contractor to bring this vision to life, resulting in a nearly 14.5-foot floating alder vanity in a custom stain, topped with beautiful countertops and a full slab backsplash.
A 10-foot wet room wrapped in monochromatic stone creates a serene focal point, complete with a multifunction shower system and striking iron detailing that frames the glass and new “rain” window. Lightly inspired by a modern Costa Rican spa, the space blends warmth, texture, and architectural contrast for a grounded yet refined retreat. The result is a calm, immersive environment that establishes a sophisticated foundation for the rest of the home’s transformation.
